There are so many reasons to travel to Scotland with its warm friendly people, breathtaking scenery and legendary history. Of course, we think the best reason to plan a trip to Scotland is to golf at iconic Old St Andrews, and some of the other well know courses there. Golfing in Scotland has been on my bucket list for years. I have plans to go soon, and in the meantime I enjoy it through the eyes of my golf customers.

Fairmont St Andrews, Scotland sits proudly amidst the rugged, coastal landscape on the East coast of Scotland while commanding spectacular views of the bay’s golden beaches and medieval St Andrews skyline. A luxurious five star hotel with 209 generous guest rooms, an array of dining options, a revitalizing spa, and of course, two championship golf courses.

The Torrance Course – With traditional revetted bunkers, this traditional Scottish links style course is a true challenge for amateurs and tour players alike. Originally designed by Sam Torrance and Gene Sarazen, the Scotland golf course was the host venue of The Scottish Seniors Open in 2010 and a final qualifying venue for the 2010 Open Championship.

The Kittocks Course – A coastal golf course with stunning views over the Eden Estuary and beaches of St Andrews. What was formerly known as The Devlin Course, reminded Gene Sarazen of Pebble Beach, and has been re-routed with two holes coming from the Torrance course.
